Moving through images
My work is divided into two main aspects: personal and commissioned. For my personal work, I produce photos and videos which can then be purchased as prints and used for different purposes. I also offer my skills for commissioned work, either for individuals, such as divers who want to have images taken of themselves during their dives or as full project development and execution for commercial imagery and films. Most important for me is that regardless of being personal or commissioned work I always aim to tell a story with my imagery.
As I see different advantages in photography and videography to portray the underwater world and its inhabitants I use both techniques. While video captures behaviour and movement of animals and the sea brilliantly, photos portray every single extraordinary detail regarding and texture and colour and captures a single moment which though still tells us a whole story.
All commissioned projects are guided by the diver’s or clients preferences . Whether capturing a diver’s first breath underwater during a discovery scuba dive or creating lasting memories for certified divers on their underwater adventures, all diver imagery is captured based on the liking of each diver. Professional underwater photo shoots, image films and commercial projects are individually developed and fully tailored to the ideas and requirements of the clients business.
